Botanicals Series

The leaves of the botanical series are inspired by the observation of the Atlantic Forest of the Itatiaia National Park, located in the Mantiqueira mountain range, between the states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. Itatiaia is the oldest national park in Brazil, having been created in 1937.
The first leaf of the series was the Costela de Adão (Mostera Deliciosa) which is very representative of the region's forest. Soon after, through an artistic residency with total immersion in the forest, the series was added with the remaining pieces.

The series ends with Vitória-Régia, inspired by the leaves that float on the rivers of the Amazon rainforest.
The production has the participation of the labor of locksmiths from the carnival of Rio de Janeiro, who collaborate with the manual modeling and weldering of the pieces.

The first leaf of the series was presented at the Made 2018 fair (Mercado Arte Design) in São Paulo. Soon after, on several occasions, including: Galeria Valk 2023 - Buenos Aires, and at Milan Design Week 2021 and 2024, Stand Apex Brazil, as a Brazilian design trend.
