Essential lines free from excess are the main characteristic of the steel and wire Lamps Series by designer Roberto Romero. Three-dimensional pieces that float in the air highlight the lightness and transparency of the designs.
Inspired by objects from the past and Brazilian nature, the pieces recall images collected from the countries where he lived, visited, studied, and worked while absorbing multiple references from the arts.
There are always fresh memories to mix with the new, with the research and inspirations that have resided in Brazilian scenes since Roberto Romero established his home in the country in 2012. He currently lives in Rio de Janeiro.
