The series of tropical birds was born from the observation of birds that live in the Tijuca Forest in Rio de Janeiro. To start the series, the following were chosen: canaries, João de Barro, Woodpecker, Hummingbird, Parakeets and Toucans.
With minimalist, objective and simple lines, the pieces are like a pencil drawing, with minimal expression, like a work of syntheses of shapes and bodies. The curved lines that gently draw the birds favor simple and symmetrical geometric shapes.
All pieces are handmade, by carnival master craftsmen, from welded steel, with an electrostatic painting finish that offers greater durability.

The series was presented for the first time at the Abup 2022 fair in São Paulo.
