The set of three works that make up the “Enchanted Roosters” are inspired by fantastic fairy tales, where each character is not what they appear to be. We apparently have three roosters, which have the heads of other animals such as dogs, rabbits and cats. In reality, they represent the group of animals that we can normally find in the homes of residents of the interior of the Brazilian Northeast, where they all mix together and are protagonists of their home. Portraits of experiences lived at the beginning of my arrival in Brazil.
This work was presented for the first time with the Gallery Imaginário at the Affordable Art Fair 2014, in Mexico City.
